The interface TDM - CATIA is used to support your CAM process optimally with access from the technology database of CATIA to TDM. In this way TDM provides company- specific tool know-how. - The access to the database of TDM supports the NC programmer. - Easy tool selection within a tool list via the Search-Panel in CATIA V5 - All relevant collission- and geometry data as well as machining know-how can be accessed. - In the form of tool lists all used data of the NC program gets retransfered from CATIA V5 to TDM. - These lists can be transfered to CATIA V5 for example to program art families with standardized tools in a set-up-optimized manner Extension: The TDM 3D Solid Converter supports CATIA V5 users in using 3D tools in programming and simulation. Regarding the integrated software tools for conversion, time savings and quality improvement are possible.
