TDM 3D-Rotationsgenerator
The 3D-Revolve Generator is an optimal option for converting existing 2D-DXF-tool contour graphics to simulation-ready 3D-models. Item and tool assembly graphics are rotated and can quickly and easily be assembled into a 3D-tool assembly in TDM as a result. The step format is the standard format with which the 3D-graphics are created in TDM. The models can optionally be transferred to CAM-systems with the 3D-Solid Converter.

The Data and Graphic Generator creates a complete tool data record with little effort. 2D- and 3D-graphics are true-to-scale and simulation-ready.

The TDM 2D-Graphic Editor can be used to easily create and edit DXF tool graphics with ease. The 2D-Graphic Editor can be integrated into TDM as an additional module and ensures simple and reliable working in the familiar TDM environment.
Functions:
- DXF-tool graphics are stored directly in the TDM-data record
- Drawings of tools are measured automatically
- Easy correction of the orientation of graphics
- Precise placement of the zero point for the effective creation of tool assemblies
- Editing of the tool contour
- Display of the graphics can be adjusted individually

- Because the TDM 2D-window can be called up directly or from a tool graphic, the time-consuming switching to a different CAD-system is no longer necessary

The individual creation of your end mill is made possible by the TDM 3D-Designer for End Mills. The options for part geometries are shaft, trunk, front and flute.
With little effort you can create a 2D- and 3D-graphic, compile the matching parameters and corresponding data record and save them.
Functions:
- Predefined part geometries, such as cylinder shaft according to DIN standards, trunk with ground slot, front and chamfer
- Individual input and adjustment options for parameters
- Automatic creation of tool data record as well as 2D- and 3D-graphics
