Sumitomo is reflecting on a successful trade fair, as in addition to thorough discussions with our existing customers, we are looking forward to numerous new customers, from good potential business leads.

With a total number of 24,200 visitors from 35 countries, INTEC once again registered a visitor growth and continues to be an attractive platform for Sumitomo as a globally operating company in the metalworking industry. The high volume of visitors, the quality of contacts as well as the increasing internationality of this year's fair sets the course for a successful INTEC in 2019.

As highlight we presented our innovative High Feed Turning System combined with new 8-cornered CBN insert which achieves a cycle time that is 6-times faster than conventional ones. Even if you increase the feed rate (up to 1,2mm/rev), HFT provides better roughness thanks to our wiper edge technology.

On the students day we were also particularly pleased with the great interest of young professionals. We answered concrete questions about the industry and our products in thorough discussions.
