Digital printing is a printing process in which digital data is transferred directly to the print medium without the need for a print master such as a printing plate or screen. Various printing processes such as inkjet, laser or sublimation printing can be used. In contrast to the conventional printing process, which usually involves printing large runs, digital printing is particularly suitable for producing smaller quantities and individual print jobs. As a result, digital printing enables greater flexibility and faster implementation of print projects. In addition, through the use of variable data, it also allows personalized prints, for example for advertising or marketing purposes.
