Lathes (also called lathes) are machine tools used for machining workpieces. Conventional lathes, unlike computer-controlled lathes, are manually operated and are often used in workshops or small production facilities. A conventional lathe fixture essentially consists of a bed on which the workpiece is mounted and a rotating tool carrier on which the cutting tool is located. The workpiece is manually rotated while the cutting tool removes the material to create the desired shape. Conventional turning fixtures can handle a variety of workpieces, depending on size and capacity, and are used in metalworking and woodworking applications. However, operation requires some experience and skill to achieve precise results.
