The function of a sensor can be monitored in the "Monitor" mode. This facilitates set-up and parameter setting considerably. Process values, images, current parameter settings and reading results can be graphically visualised. A "Service" mode is often offered for diagnosis. The service report allows the user to view reports, save the history of parameter sets, measured data and recordings, make statistical evaluations and display the last sensor images of good or bad readings.
