Connection cables, flat cable splitters, insulation displacement connectors, wirable plugs and sockets are used for the connection of sensors and actuators. AS-i repeaters serve to extend the cable length of an AS-i network by another 100 metres. The AS-i bus termination and further test and diagnostic units are used to detect and prevent communication problems in the network.
