The data is converted into digitally coded values and provided to the AS-i evaluation unit without further programming. Applications are found in production lines, where the units are used for material flow control. The integrated web server lets you configure the RFID system in a web browser. Function blocks enable easy integration into the control level. The requirements of harsh industrial environments are met by a stable housing, a wide temperature range and a high protection rating. The evaluation unit transmits the data to the PLC via PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET, Ethernet IP, Ethernet TCP/IP or EtherCAT. The product range comprises antennas for detection zones of different sizes and a large variety of ID tags.
