Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft "Laser und Lasersysteme für die Materialbearbeitung" im VDMA vertritt auch in diesem Jahr wieder die deutsche Laserbranche auf der LMN World Laser Technology Conference in Shenzhen. Dies zwar aus offensichtlichen Gründen mit einer Online-Teilnahme und einem Vortrag über Zoom, die Veranstaltung in China findet jedoch als Hybrid-Veranstaltung statt. Im Premieren-Jahr 2020 zählte die LMN Konferenz und die begleitende Messe SCIIF mit der Laserfair über 50.000 Besucher*innen.
