Learn how to create a manufacturing setup in NX CAM that includes part geometry ready for machining, collision-free workpiece holding, and how to use it in shop documentation:
• Prepare part geometry for machining (without affecting the original design part)
• Determine workpiece holding (use fixtures from a library)
• Simulate the setup to expose physical conflicts (machine limits, collisions with fixture / machine)
• Analyze uncut material using dynamic cross-sectioning and fringe plotting
• Communicate the setup in shop docs
