GANTRY EAGLE 1400 Closes the gap EDM applications are becoming larger and also more precisely detailed. OPS-INGERSOLL fulfils these requirements with the EDM-machine GANTRY EAGLE 1400. This machine has been a successful seller within the last year and is a top performer as well. The machine has a work-tank of 1.510 x 2.590 x 790 mm and axis travel ways (X/Y/Z) of 1.250 / 2.350 / 700 m and is equipped with the EAGLE POWERTEC control. Due to the high axis-travel-speed (EAGLE POWER JUMP) and the generator technology EAGLE POWERTEC the machine can be used dynamically and efficient for big-mould-manufacturing as well as complex work pieces. This means that the increase of the efficiency results in the optimum ratio of EDM to jump time. High jump speeds up to 18 m/min and the reduction of the application times up to 50 % are possible with the GANTRY EAGLE 1400. As an option, the GANTRY EAGLE 1400 can also be offered in a „plus“-version. The work-tank in this version is 1.510 x 2.590 x 1.015 mm, with a maximum dielectric height of 975 mm and a maximum open height of 300/1.200 mm. The axis travel ways (X/Y/Z) are 1.250 / 2.350 / 900 mm.
