MODE OF OPERATION Contaminated cutting fluid enters the filter unit from the side into the inlet diverter.
In the filter housing, the coolant flows through the paper media into the clean tank, while swarf and other residues stay on the paper media.
Swarf and other residues build up and form a filter cake on the paper media and cause the fluid level in the filter to rise until a level sensor is actuated.
The scraper conveyor then removes contaminated paper, swarf and other residues into a collecting container
THE UNIVERSAL AND MULTI-VARIANT PAPER BAND FILTER The HPF paper band filter from our MMF series is a proven standard in our filters. Its optimized design enables the filtration of cooling lubricants of all cutting processes with a high filter fineness. The operating principle of the deep bed filter is based on hydrostatic pressure, which acts on the liquid on the filter paper and thus allows increased throughput and improved filtration with less space and paper consumption. The HPF is easy to handle and offers the possibility of pre-depositing ferromagnetic chips, for example, by means of a magnetic pre-separator.

MODE OF OPERATION This filter is based on the build-up of a filter cake which is periodically moved through rotation.
The coarse particles are carried out by special cleats.
Simultaneously, the filter cake is removed by the brush and the filter screen pores are additionally cleaned using a separate clean coolant (flushing) pump from inside to outside.
