MODE OF OPERATION
Contaminated cutting fluid enters the filter unit from the side into the inlet diverter.

In the filter housing, the coolant flows through the paper media into the clean tank, while swarf and other residues stay on the paper media.

Swarf and other residues build up and form a filter cake on the paper media and cause the fluid level in the filter to rise until a level sensor is actuated.

The scraper conveyor then removes contaminated paper, swarf and other residues into a collecting container

THE UNIVERSAL AND MULTI-VARIANT PAPER BAND FILTER
The HPF paper band filter from our MMF series is a proven standard in our filters. Its optimized design enables the filtration of cooling lubricants of all cutting processes with a high filter fineness. The operating principle of the deep bed filter is based on hydrostatic pressure, which acts on the liquid on the filter paper and thus allows increased throughput and improved filtration with less space and paper consumption. The HPF is easy to handle and offers the possibility of pre-depositing ferromagnetic chips, for example, by means of a magnetic pre-separator.

MODE OF OPERATION
Contaminated cutting fluid enters from top of the filter into the inlet diverter.

Hydrostatic pressure forces the dirty coolant through the Filter Media and into the clean tank. With this, a filter cake will be formed on the paper media

Media Carrier Belt reliably removes contaminated filter paper from the unit into a collecting container.

The lift bottom centrifuge is designed for continuous operations. This up and down motion of the live bottom pushes the chips upward through the sieve. The centrifugal force, up to 500 times the force of gravity, will dry the chips, resulting in the maximum degree of de-oiling. The remaining oil content is extremely low. The dry chips fall down over the edge of the drum into a container. The are different models and different drives available.

THE NEW GENERATION OF MEDIA-FREE FILTER UNITS
For customers where maximum availability and low maintenance requirements come first, we offer the RBF-E in our MMF series. The RBF-E is a self-cleaning filter without consumables.

Its rotating endless steel filter fabric not only makes changing the paper roll superfluous, but is also particularly insensitive to increased chips.

The compact design and efficient principle of hydrostatic pressure as the driving force of the filtration allow a sizing of the filter capacity from 100 l/min to 1500 l/min with a good filter fineness.

MODE OF OPERATION
This filter is based on the build-up of a filter cake which is periodically moved through rotation.

The coarse particles are carried out by special cleats.

Simultaneously, the filter cake is removed by the brush and the filter screen pores are additionally cleaned using a separate clean coolant (flushing) pump from inside to outside.

More and more, strict environmental requirements oblige companies to process the swarf and dispose of them in a dry condition. The reclaimed coolant is to be fed back in to the production process. The VBU centrifuges are available in different dimension and are used for continuous operations
