A vapor degreasing plant is an industrial plant for cleaning parts and workpieces by vapor degreasing. The plant consists of a closed tank filled with a special cleaning agent, mostly hydrogen chloride (HCl). The parts to be cleaned are placed in the tank and heated by steam rising from the cleaning agent. Due to the pressure and heat of the steam, contaminants such as grease, oil and dirt are loosened from the parts and carried away by the steam. The steam degreasing system is particularly suitable for cleaning parts and workpieces that are difficult to clean or that would need to be exposed to high temperatures or chemical solutions. It is often used in the manufacturing of machines, electrical appliances and other industrial products. However, it is important to note that the use of hydrogen chloride in vapor degreasing can be harmful to health. Therefore, appropriate safety measures must be taken to ensure safe handling and disposal of the cleaning agent.
