Rewinders and decoilers are devices used in industry to wind and unwind materials such as wire, foil, paper, or fabric. A decoiler is used to unwind materials from a large spool diameter onto a smaller spool or core. This is usually done to reduce the material to the size needed for further processing or transportation. Decoilers are commonly used in the paper, printing, textile, packaging and other industries. A take-up reel is used to wind materials from a smaller spool or core onto a larger spool. This is usually done to gather the material into a size suitable for further processing or storage. Recoilers are used in similar industries as decoilers. Both types of reels are available in different sizes and designs to meet the requirements of each application. They can also be equipped with various features such as automatic tension control, speed control, and measuring and cutting devices.
