Injection molding machines are machines that mold plastics into a desired shape through the injection molding process. Injection molding is a manufacturing process in which molten plastic is injected into a mold to produce a specific shape. Injection molding machines consist of an injection device, a mold or die, a cooling unit, and a demolding device. The injection device melts the plastic and conveys it through a cylinder and nozzle into the mold. The mold is often two-part and consists of a cavity plate and a core plate that are held together. When the molten plastic is injected into the mold, it fills the cavity, taking on the desired shape. The cooling unit ensures that the plastic hardens and solidifies in the mold. Once the plastic is hard enough, the mold is opened and the finished part is removed.
