Mixers and mixing plants are construction machines used for the production of concrete, mortar, asphalt and other mixtures. These plants can be mobile or stationary and have a variety of components such as hoppers, agitators, batching systems and conveyor belts. One of the most common types of mixers is the drum mixer. This is a rotating drum into which the ingredients for mixing are placed and are evenly mixed by the rotation of the drum. This mixing method is often used for the production of concrete.
