Internal cylindrical grinding machines are machine tools used for machining internal contours, where the grinding spindle is inserted into the workpiece. These machines have an elongated wheelhead and a short table on which the workpiece is mounted. The grinding spindle moves in a horizontal or vertical direction to machine the inside contour of the workpiece. Internal cylindrical grinding machines are particularly suitable for machining small, precision machined parts, such as bearing mounts, hydraulic cylinders and the like.
