Gegründet 1892 als Handwerksbetrieb, begann die Wilhelm Schauerte GmbH & Co. KG in den 1930er Jahren mit der Serienherstellung von Präzisionsdrehteilen. Auf der Suche nach einer innovativen Werkzeuglösung wurde der Spezialist für das Präzisionsdrehen bei ISCAR fündig. Seit er Wendeschneidplatten der LOGIQ 4 TURN-Reihe einsetzt, haben sich die Standzeiten bei der anspruchsvollen Bearbeitung eines Bauteils aus Chrom-Nickel-Stahl im Vergleich zur früheren Lösung glatt verdoppelt, und die einst so schwierige Spanabfuhr läuft jetzt wie geschmiert.
