Mira, el cable que conseguiste de 22 AWG te funciona. Yo me precuparia mas por el grueso del alambre que por la capacidad de temperatura. De hecho, si pudiera ser 20 AWG o mas grueso, aun mejor. Claro que hasta cierto punto porque tambien tiene que ser flexible.

Se ve bien tu idea para los ejes. Una cosa es que para cortar metales, debe quedarte todo muy rigido. De lo contrario los cortes no quedan bien y hasta arriesgas romper o embotar las fresas.

The 22 AWG wire will work. I'd be more worried about the wire diameter than the temperature rating. In fact, if you can make it 20 AWG or thicker, even better. Of course, up to a point because it also needs to be flexible.

Your idea for the axes look good. One thing, for metals you'd want all to be very rigid. Otherwise your cuts won't be as good and you'll even risk dulling out your endmills]]
