From the first idea to the final booth at EMO Hannover 2013

Preparations for EMO Hannover 2013 are progressing at full steam. The exhibitors are in the midst of planning for their fair booth. To increase the readers' anticipation for the upcoming EMO Hannover 2013, we will continuously report about the progress in the planning and implementation of the fair booths of two EMO exhibitors.
Siemens AG
Siemens AG in Erlangen, Germany, began their preliminary plans already in the summer of last year, the official start of the project was in December. The new year began with the presentation of the project team and the schedule of milestones. This was followed by the selection of potential equipment and the assessment of possible workpieces for live production at the fair (picture below).
Then the booth design was created in March of this year. Subsequently visits of locations took place in the halls of the Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover, Germany. The project team and the event team of Siemens AG take a look at the German Pavilion at the Hannover Exhibition Centre (picture above).
The impressions gained in the exhibition halls, here the Peppermint Park, will be considered in the ongoing planning of the booth (picture above).
Siemens is also cooperation partner for the special show for young people “Mechanical Engineering – a Job with Power” of the VDW-Nachwuchsstiftung at the EMO Hannover. The project team of Siemens AG is also in the booth planning involved (picture below).
Currently the project participants intensively discusse technical details in daily meetings (picture above) - because a good trade fair participation has to be planned well!
Heller Maschinenfabrik GmbH
Also at the Heller Maschinenfabrik in Nürtingen, Germany, the preparations for the EMO Hannover 2013 are in full swing. Marcus Kurringer (center) in extensive meetings discusses possible booth alternatives and the placement of display items with Andreas Fehleisen (left) and Johannes Strauß (right), bluepool GmbH, Leinfelden (picture below).
The final booth concept will be determined this month. Then will follow the preparation of display items for the booth and the selection and organization of the booth personnel.
The EMO team reports soon with new information about the further progress in the implementation of the booths at Heller and Siemens.
