PITTLER T&S wins Ringier Technology Innovation Award 2016
PITTLER T&S GmbH is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious Chinese Ringier Technology Innovation Award 2016 in the category of "Metal Cutting Machine Tools" for its highly efficient gear cutting technology Power Skiving. Compared to conventional gear cutting technologies, Power Skiving allows gear producers to realise higher toothing qualities, lower surface roughness and cycle time reductions of up to 50% – a major advancement in the field of gear cutting for which PITTLER T&S has now been acknowledged by the Chinese metalworking industry. Following a strict and neutral selection process from an independent panel of judges comprising industry associations and research institutes, PITTLER T&S was among 53 companies across 10 categories that received one of the renowned prizes at the award ceremony held in Shanghai on April 12th.
The Ringier Technology Innovation Awards are presented annually by Ringier Trade Media and are recognized as the most influential industrial awards in China. Inaugurated in 2006, the purpose of these awards is to encourage, acknowledge and reward companies who have launched an innovative method, product or technology that exceedingly facilitates production efficiency, cost effectiveness, user convenience and eco-friendliness. According to the organisers, nominated companies must be relevant to China and in the forefront of the international metalworking industry and must have helped to take China's metalworking industry to new levels.
