AUMA – German Trade Fairs

AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, represents the interests of exhibitors, organisers and visitors to trade fairs. Here you can get information on trade fairs in Germany and abroad, tips to assist with your trade fair preparations and useful information on the industry.

We provide information on dates, services, exhibitor and attendance figures at trade fairs in Germany and abroad, assisting exhibitors and visitors from around the world with their decision-making as regards trade fair participation. AUMA provides data on more than 5,000 events in its online database. Information is available in four languages. It publicises trade fair dates and suggestions for planning and taking part in trade fairs.

AUMA coordinates the interests of German industry when the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology’s selects its foreign trade fair representations. It assists the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) in organising its trade fair programmes abroad. In particular, these programmes support small and medium-sized enterprises in their efforts to access foreign markets by organising joint company representations at trade fairs abroad.
