Hello,

I'm new to this community and I send greetings to everyone.

I have a Gildemeister CT40 lathe with Eltropilot control (EPL2) that has stopped starting. The display shows only one line with old data (`0.864,110 02-NOV-1989`) and doesn't respond to any input. I have no documentation or backup of the parameters or programs.

I have already checked:

• Correct power supply (three-phase OK)
• Emergency button disabled
• The internal battery has been replaced with a new one.
• No RS232 communication (no response)

Does anyone have experience with this model or know how to reprogram the system from scratch?
I would also appreciate it if anyone could share:

• Basic boot parameters
• Procedure for loading software or firmware
• Copy of test programs to verify operation

+ Can I program the EEPROMs with a programming device?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
